Al Mustafa Welfare Trust (AMWT) donated 18 maund (720 Kg) wheat bags to four disabled children of Khurshid and an elderly individual who lived in Lahore. This food aid was donated on May 27th 2013 under our food support programme. The poor family would use this wheat for domestic purposes. Al Mustafa is supporting the disabled children since 2012 and we are providing medical treatment, monthly financial help and food to them. With our regular support two of the young disabled brothers Sadiq and Salim are improving gradually, while Muhammad Sadiq is also running a vending shop from his home.

Disability success story of Sardaran Bibi

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust (UK) has donated an artificial hand to a disabled woman Sardaran Bibi. She is 43 years old and mother of five children (two baby daughters and three sons). She lives in Sarwala village of district Chiniot. She had lost her left hand when she was cutting the fodder for her animals. Her husband, Abdul Ghafoor, is a farm labourer and he can not afford the treatment due to financial problems.

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has fitted a German made mechanical hand and cosmetic glove, matching colour for this poor and needy disabled woman. After fitting the modern artificial hand, she is able to do her domestic work.
