Major earthquake kills at least 350 and leaves thousands injured and homeless in Mashel, Baluchistan, a remote region of Pakistan
According to The United States Geological Survey (USGS). the earthquake took place on 24 September 2013 at 11:29:48 UTC at 27.000°N 65.514°E. The depth of the earthquake was reported to be 15 kilometres (9.3 mi).
- A powerful earthquake of 7.7 magnitude earthquake which centered in Baluchistan province's remote Awaran district flattened entire villages hitting the South West region of Pakistan. The natural disaster has killed more than 350 people, destroyed 21,000 homes and left 300,000 helpless victims in a state of panic and in dire need of shelter, blankets, medical aid and food.
- A state of emergency has been declared in the heavily hit districts of Awaran, Kech and Panchgur where the death toll is expected to rise further.
- The teams of Al Mustafa are helping people on the ground providing first aid and helping people to take out from rubble.
